Ingram Micro Cloud Summit 2018 presents Invero’s Craig Slack
Tim FitzGerald of Ingram Micro moderates the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Panel, which includes ReadyNetworks’ Sam Barhoumeh, BlueSilver Shift’s Craig Slack, and PCM’s Herb Hogue, as they discuss their varied approaches to Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) at the Cloud Summit of 2018.
What is IaaS? It is a sort of cloud computing service that provides on-demand computation, storage, and networking resources on a pay-as-you-go basis. IaaS, along with software as a service (SaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and serverless, is one of four categories of cloud services.
Relocating your organization’s infrastructure to an IaaS solution allows you to minimize on-premises data centre maintenance, save money on hardware expenditures, and get real-time business analytics. IaaS solutions allow you to scale your IT resources up and down in response to demand. They also assist you in swiftly provisioning new apps and increasing the dependability of your underlying infrastructure.
A cloud provider hosts the infrastructure components that would normally be found in an on-premises data centre under an IaaS service model. This comprises hardware such as servers, storage, and networking, as well as the virtualization or hypervisor layer.
