Under the category of “Modernizing Applications,” Invero showcased their success with CSL Group — a maritime-shipping company with a vital, longstanding identity in international trade.
Propelling a 100-Year-Old Company into The Next Century Through Azure Cloud Migration
Invero’s success in the Impact Awards is due in large part to the dedication they have to their clients. They have a history of transforming world-renowned brands by going beyond the scope of work to reimagine cloud infrastructures.
CSL delivers millions of tons of dry-bulk cargo every year to customers in industries around the world. With minimal room for error, every moment counts. Despite this, CSL used disconnected data centres with a third-party administrator that was slow to respond. Suffering from data breaches and access gaps, CSL’s cloud infrastructure required a complete overhaul.
Working closely with the CSL team, Invero developed a data strategy roadmap and migrated 3 inefficient data centres into Azure. While the upfront cost of migration and monthly maintenance was higher at the outset, CSL now enjoys a 32% reduction in monthly costs. This critical transition will provide CSL a return-on-investment within the year.
